Wallingford To Hold 9/11 Ceremony This Afternoon


The town will hold a ceremony today in front of Town Hall on South Main Street to honor and pay tribute to those affected by the events of Sept. 11 2001.

The ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be moved inside to the Town Council Chambers if there is rain. The event is sponsored by the Wallingford Fire Department, the town's Public Celebrations Committee and the Recreation Department.

I've been in this event. It's sad to recall the 9-11 incident but it's time for us to move on. Let's just pray for the victims and their families. Alaska Fishing Tackle
