Actor And Audio Book Narrator To Speak In Wallingford
Actor and audio book narrator George Guidall will speak at the Wallingford Public Library on Thursday at 7 p.m..
Guidall has narrated over 900 unabridged audio novels, including Crime and Punishment, Frankenstein, The Iliad and Don Quixote. He was recently awarded his third Audie Award, the industry’s equivalent of an Oscar, for the best unabridged narration of a children’s book called Django.
Guidall also holds the record for receiving the most Earphone Awards for excellence in narration given by Audiofile Magazine, which has named him one of the original “Golden Voices” in the audio book industry.
Guidall's career in the theatre has included starring roles on Broadway in such plays as Chapter Two, Cafe Crown, Alone Together, and Cold Storage. He has also received an Obie award for best performance Off-Broadway.
