Wallingford Library To Hold Dickens Celebration
The 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens' birth on Feb. 7th will be commemorated with a special program at the Wallingford Library.
Monmouth (N.J.) College Professor Brooks Appelbaum, who is a specialist in Victorian studies, will give a brief talk followed by a theatrical reading from Dickens’ novel Hard Times. Appelbaum will perform with local resident Neel Pizinger.
The program starts at 7 p.m. Birthday cake and coffee will be served at the conclusion of the event.
